Kim Carlsen has spent more than 20 years contributing to the successes of various companies through her expertise in Human Resources. She is a hands-on problem solver dedicated to understanding an organization’s business needs and partnering to deliver on its goals. She is skilled in identifying and hiring talented personnel. She has hired anywhere from entry-level manufacturing associates to C-Level Executives. She has recruited in the high-tech, telecommunications, nutraceutical, healthcare, consumer products, manufacturing, distribution and service industries.

Her career started as an HR Assistant for a local manufacturing company. This was her first introduction to recruiting talent. From there she moved into an HR Manager role and has progressed in her career to become the head of HR for several Fortune 500 companies in Utah. Throughout her career she has been able to hone her recruiting skills to the art of identifying the right talent the first time. Key to her success is understanding company culture quickly, identifying the key competencies for a position and then finding the right talent to compliment what is already there.

Kim earned her MBA from University of Phoenix and Bachelors’ degree in Business Management from Weber State University. She holds certifications in Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) and Six Sigma Greenbelt.
