Carlie’s journey into recruiting took a few stops along the way. She joined SEARCH Group Partners in May of 2015 as a receptionist. From there, she quickly had the opportunity to transition into an executive assistant role. After six months in executive assisting, she was presented with a new challenge—the opportunity to join SGP’s team of recruiters.
She says, “I feel lucky to have worn so many hats here at SEARCH Group Partners. My various roles have given me a well-rounded understanding of our business.” Her administrative background gives her an edge when recruiting for office and administrative positions. “I know the challenges associated with administrative work. I can draw from my own experiences to help set my candidates up for success.” Carlie knows there is more to life than working to pay the bills. She strives to place candidates in positions that they are not only well-qualified for, but culturally compatible with as well.
Carlie graduated from Utah State University in 2011. As a former English major, she loves to write and feels particularly drawn toward projects that allow her to demonstrate her skills as a writer. On the weekends, you can find her entertaining guests, trying new recipes in the kitchen, or on an adventure with her husband and new puppy, Scout.
