Emma is a Jr. Recruiter at SEARCH Group Partners (SGP), working in our Strategic Accounts division and primarily supporting financial services clients, including Goldman Sachs.
Prior to SGP, Emma worked at Wells Fargo Bank for four years in various roles that included client relations, operations, and administration. Emma’s passion for creating equal opportunity for all, led her to become an advocate of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. While in school and running a Refugee Social Club, Emma initiated projects that focused on hiring diverse candidates within organizations, including the Career Services Department at David Eccles School of Business and Workfront Inc, among others, as an independent DEI initiator. In this role, Emma promoted the establishment of an inclusive environment within organizations, by developing various strategies on how to hire and retain refugees.
Emma is a native of The Democratic Republic of the Congo, born in Lubumbashi. After surviving several disruptions in Zimbabwe, she moved to Utah in 2014 with her young sibling where she found refuge. Emma is a sports enthusiast and enjoys tennis, chess, and rock-climbing. She enjoys spending her summers with her fiancé Ethan, road tripping, being in nature, hiking and camping.
